Where to sell electronics that won’t completely screw me over?

I’m moving out and trying to get rid of some stuff. Mercari / Sayonara sales have no bites, so it’s looking like I’ll need to take them to a shop. I know they all pretty much all give you bad offers, but which chain will actually give me the least insulting price?

Edit: I’m in Osaka

  1. Have you tried jimoty? It’s like Craigslist. I find I can get decent prices for old stuff there. https://jmty.jp/

I was selling pretty nice stuff in good condition. If you had no bites on Mercari, jimoty might be similar, but you might get lucky!

  2. Did you try lower your price on Mercari/Sayonara Sales? The market will eventually find the correct price point, that is assuming your products have demand.

If there were a chain that gave better prices than anyone else, don’t you think everyone would just go to that chain and then the others would either close or normalize their prices,

  4. Mercari is the best in my opinion.
Selling online will give you the best price. Anywhere else will probably not be worth it.

I sold a bunch of Electronics on Mercari.
Even sold a brand new Alexa for 4750 that I bought for sale for just 2000y lol.
Sold a beaten up PS3 for 6000, and a bunch of other stuff.

  5. You could try Yahoo! Auctions. I buy a lot of electronics on there, but the prices are pretty competitive so if you are overvaluing your items, that may be why you aren’t getting any bites.
