Has someone made an app where you can draw Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji on a Tablet or Phone connected to your computer and it would type the Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji?

1. Handwriting input? I think there are some apps that let you use a phone or tablet as a digitizer on PC. [Weylus](https://github.com/H-M-H/Weylus), VirtualTablet, etc.

   Alternatively, you could invest in a drawing tablet (wacom, huion, xp pen, etc.).

2. I also think a small wacom tablet with pen may be a good option.

   Macs have good hanzi input from the trackpad using your finger.

   For Windows, something like the MS Surface with a touchscreen and a pen may be good

3. You can use google docs.
   1. **Version without using a phone**: With a graphic tablet (even the cheapest ones like XP-Pen StarG640 will do) you can write even whole sentences on google virtual keyboard, it will get automatically converted to text.

   2. **Version using a phone**: With your phone or tablet you can install google keyboard with Japanese support and use its handwriting feature to write in google docs. If you open the same document on your PC whatever you write using your phone will appear there in real-time.

4. if entirely on the phone is fine, the google handwriting keyboard allows you to draw kana and kanji and it will enter into any text field just like any keyboard will, this is what i use on my android phone

5. iOS has a handwriting keyboard for Chinese. Japanese is only romaji or kana so it’s really the only built in option
