I am working on a project that is set in Japan in the early 90, specifically around 94-95.
I wanted to know what the culture was like during this time, what where the top artist/muscians and songs from this period, what some of the trends where, style and entartainment and etc. What film and tv shows were popular, and little details of what like day to day life was like for teenagers and adults. I am trying to depict this period well, and the more information the better. If you guys could provide me all you know and any resources on top it would be so helpful, i have done some research but wanted a more intimate and exact take on this period.

Win95 was sold from Nov. 1995 in Japan. The internet thus was about to become popular.
In the music scene, B’z made a historical record with the album Loose.
The anime Evangelion started in Oct. 1995 and became phenomenal.
Pokemon was released in 1996.

Tokyo salin attack was in 1995. Hanshin earthquake also.
Some things that might help see what the 90s were like is to find some jdramas from the time, as well as commercials and music. Mass media tends to dictate the culture at the time.
