Hi all. I’ll be in Japan from September 2023 for one year. I dye my own hair bright pink every 4-6 weeks however I will be staying in a student dormitory and I won’t be able to do it myself due to the potential mess. I’m looking for a hairdresser in the Kanagawa ward of Yokohama who may specialise in vibrant colours. Some English communications may be required but my Japanese is okay. Any recommendations welcome!

So I just had a haircut in Japan. I tried for same day but it seems hot pepper beauty is what a lot of salons use to book online. It’s easy to set up with Google translate and you can search by area, service etc. Honestly super great. I’d get an account there and search/book an appointment! I ended up booking at 12am for 11am the next day and it all went well~~
