I would need advice. 2 years ago I bought a galaxy 5g Wi-Fi (pocket Wi-Fi) with uq mobile, the pocket Wi-Fi works great but the coverage of uq mobile is not good, my contract will expire next month and I would like to change operator, i live in tokyo can you recommend me a new card with higher coverage? that includes unlimited internet plan in 5g?

the only “unlimited” plans are by the mainline carriers (au, docomo, softbank). they also cost somewhere over 5,000 yen/month. rakuten also has something they claim is unlimited but I’m sure there’s some fine print/catch, like shitty coverage.
nothing wireless is going to be truly “unlimited”.
5g coverage depends on your phone and whether it supports the bands of carrier you will use.
I think you will have a hard time finding a network that offers unlimited with good coverage area. UQ is part of Au so that only leaves something that uses the Docomo or Softbank network. I know Rakuten offers unlimited but the coverage is very spotty, low to no coverage in underground areas and big buildings like malls.
Perhaps look into [Wimax](https://www.uqwimax.jp/wimax/plan/)? They have unlimited data if you only use the “standard mode/high speed mode”. The “plus area mode” has data caps. However, speed is throttled to 1Mbps between 18:00-02:00 daily if your total usage in the last 3 days exceeds 10Gb.
You can check their [coverage maps here.](https://www.uqwimax.jp/wimax/area/).
