The whole point of ~ようになる is to use なる together with verbs that can’t seamlessly go with it. な adjectives can just have ~になる (日本料理が好きになる) and い adjectives can have ~くなる, so you don’t use ~ようになる with them

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say there.
This might just be my 5AM sleep-deprived brain, but I don’t recall there being a system of using ‘ようになる’ with adjectives, so I’m not sure where you’re getting any of these from.
