Is it possible to get a working visa with a high school degree?

Please read the whole text before giving your answer.
So i am in japan, on a student visa, currently doing great and was originally planning to renew my student visa.
I got hired in a great company and the manager and all the higher ups need me and they offered me a working visa. (My plan is to get the job and then go to university after a year, while continuing my job here)

I heard from some people somewhere that i might get rejected by the immigration bureau as i only have a highschool degree and not much working background (it’s mostly freelance).

Yet some people have said that since i do have a company backing me up for the visa, it is no problem for me to get it.

So my question to you is this: what are the odds of me getting accepted by the immigration office for a working visa with a high school degree? Please let me know if you have seen others in my situation as well. Wanna know how it went for them.
Thank you all

  2. The chances are pretty much zero. You need a university degree or 10 years of experience.

You could go to university on a student visa and work part time (28 hours/week). That’s really the only option.

  3. >I heard from some people somewhere that i ~~might~~ ***will*** get rejected by the immigration bureau as i only have a highschool degree

A bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of *relevant* experience is required to get a working visa.

    >Yet some people have said that since i do have a company backing me up for the visa, it is no problem for me to get it.

Those people were wrong. While having a job is also a requirement for a visa, it doesn’t negate the baseline requirements.

    >what are the odds of me getting accepted by the immigration office for a working visa with a high school degree?

    ***Zero***.

  4. Zero.
