Is there any Japanese dictionary api available other than Jisho API

I’m building an app for listening and reading Japanese. I need to add dictionary feature to my app. I googled it and found old Jisho API which is not maintained well. Are there any other api available for Japanese dictionary

  1. Why don’t you just bundle JMdict? That’s (almost) all Jisho is anyway, and it can be used without an internet connection

  2. Doesn’t MangaFox also have a Japanese dictionary API? Fairly sure it is an option when using Mitaku’s Chrome extension.

  3. Random side note, but does anyone know how I can contribute monetarily to Jisho. It’s super handy and I want to make sure the creators are rewarded for their work and are able to keep it up

  4. API? Unsure. However, I do know of a database (as a file) you can pull from — it even includes slang

  5. I made an app for myself for studying Japanese and here’s what I used. JMDict downloaded directly in the app, jisho api, deepl api for longer phrases but it doesn’t return the pronunciation, sakura-paris for jp-jp dictionary, and kanjiapi for kanji readings.

  7. I think there’s some api for goo辞書. I think it’s only a monolingual dictionary though
