I just got a moped (50cc) and my moped license, but I’m having a hard time of knowing which roads I’m allowed to use, as well as how to navigate around roads I can’t use. I tried using Google Maps, but it still puts me on highways even when I tell it not to. And it’s a bit scary to drive on the bigger roads on this little thing 😅 Is there a better app I can use to navigate? Thanks!

Your eyeballs are probably the best app for this.
[Touring supporter](https://web.moto.touring.navitime.jp/) is probably what you’re looking for but just be aware that it’s not free (like 400 yen a month).
google maps has a no highways option
25cc?
Is that like a kickboard…?

If you can read Japanese, the Navitime touring app has a 50cc mode to take you on routes that are safe. [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.navitime.local.bike&hl=ja](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.navitime.local.bike&hl=ja)
Google maps, you can uncheck toll roads or highways as an option. I guess you need 125cc for the highways.
If you say you are travelling by bike you should be able to get an accurate(ish) route. There are exceptions but they should be blatantly obvious and easy to navigate around. The timing of your route will be off but that shouldn’t be too hard to approximate.
Any road is OK except expressways. There will be signs before you enter.
