is this still readable at all ? i had to mess with the placements to fit it within my limits and im pleased with the shape but im worried ive totally butchered the words because i have zero idea how kanji work !! the pattern is just for me and my own use i would just hate to mess up super bad and then have it on display forever lol

Yeah. Perfectly legible for me save for the 絶 in 絶対
This is defintely readable! If I could point out just one thing, it’d be the shape of た, specifically the right bottom part that are shapred like こ. Currently those two lines looks like they belong to a single circle cut in half in the middle, but that leaves a slightly off feeling. Note that we often tweak shape to look like this for artistic freedom, but this stood out becaues all the others were quite accurate! – You’ve definitely done great work balancing and reducing geometric nuances at right level.

I’d say leaving top line straight horizontally, or having them near straight but shooting towards right top, and keep the curve minimal would work.
