I (34F) have no idea what I’m doing. Help me complete my Japan trip itinerary efficiently

I’m going to Japan from the 4th to the 22nd of October. I’m trying to dish out a relatively economic plan while still travelling all of Japan (call me crazy but I don’t plan on going back, I earn pesos lol) Anyway, I can post my haphazard itinerary if anyone is interested.

What I need extreme help with is: Is it possible to get from Hiroshima to Sendai with JR pass? And how long does it take?

I’m getting the 7 day JR pass and want to book in the following cities: Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Hakodate, Sendai?, maybe Sapporo?

I’m already doing Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara in the first week without JR, staying in Osaka by the way.

I’m willing to let Sapporo go and stay in Hakodate before returning to Tokyo for the remaining 5 nights. I don’t know if to make short stops between Hiroshima and Hakodate…was thinking Nagoya. Or maybe just go as far north as Sendai and call it good?

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. For reference, going with 4 other people and we all love nature, adrenaline, history (or at least 3 of us do lol), and anything tech.

  1. If you are seeing Osaka / Kyoto / Kobe / Nara you may as well get a 14-day pass, maybe even a 21 day as pretty much all of those places are accessible via Shinkansen/ JR Rail. I think Sapporo is accessible too but it may require a changeover and a separate ticket, not sure. It also a bit of a longer journey, but possible.
