Itinerary Check – 12 fancy days in Japan. Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka

My wife and I are gearing up for our trip in Japan! We’ve got most of the hotels booked and only a couple dinner reservations and food plans. I’m a professional photographer and a Japanese rhythm game enthusiast, she’s into Pokemon and Zelda and loves sushi and ramen. We love good and weird food, we’re not huge drinkers, but will throw back occasionally. We’re adventurous, but loveeee “luxury experiences.”

There’s a few things missing that we want to tackle. One of which is a pampering/relaxation kind of day. I have a feeling Kyoto might be the best place for this. Taking recommendations!!

  1. Just walk around Kyoto if you are totally lost on what to do. You will be sure to stumble upon something. Day 2 you want to lunch at Nishki then visit Arahiyama on the other side of town.

A lot of same day hotel switching which feels unnecessary and a hassle?
