Hey I’m in need of some information.
I’m trying to plan a hiking excursion to Kosuge Shrine in Iiyama, Nagano but I’m unable to find a clear explanation online on where to go for the hike.
I’m trying to choose a place to stay and I want to know where to travel in order to start.
If anyone knows about this hike please give me instruction on how to plan it.

It looked like only the part of the shrine that’s at the top of the mountain is listed in English on Google maps. If you search in Japanese (小菅神社) you’ll see where the parts are that are at the base of the mountain. I can’t find the first torii gate but the second one is marked on google as 小菅神社二の鳥居 but other than a quick look on google i don’t know anything. I hope someone can help you. Good luck!

It looks like from Iiyama Stn there’s the Iiyam-Nozawa bus line to [Sekizawa stop](https://maps.app.goo.gl/szkCrSc7u1JxFVrc6) (25 minutes) which is across the street from the [2nd torii gate](https://maps.app.goo.gl/EwBHMQux5Bvk4Scz6), where it’s one main trail (East) towards [Kosuge Jinja Okusha](https://maps.app.goo.gl/yCR46qgHMHQkF4an6)(15 minutes)
