3 Week Solo Trip – Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka/Hakone/Hiroshima Review

Hey guys! This is my first trip to Japan, I (F25) am traveling solo and very excited! I’ve done small solo trips around the US but not out of the country. I’m going in October from the 3rd-24th and would love any guidance, tips, and opinions. Am I overworking myself? Going to areas too far apart and not enough time? Or, am I missing something in an area you totally wouldn’t miss? Let me know!

**Everything listed is not** ***everything*** **I’m doing in a day, but just possibilities for the area. This schedule is currently really flexible and if recommended, I’d spend a day less somewhere so that I can have another somewhere else.**

LAX->HND (lose a day, arrive on the 4th @ 5am)

While in Tokyo, I will be staying in the same hotel and just taking public transport around.

**Tokyo**

(10/22-24)

I plan on getting a tattoo in Shibuya when I come back.Also the Gotokuji Temple if I haven’t gone yet.

Other than that, these days are fairly open. Go back to places I enjoyed. Explore other things I haven’t fully planned yet. I’d just like a day or two of wiggle room back in Tokyo before my flight leaves from HND at noon on Tuesday the 24th.

I don’t really have a desire to go to Disney. Universal I could get talked into but the crowds seem intense and I’m alone! I think that’s the only place I’d feel lonely. I’d love to go to the Ghibli Museum, but I’m not banking on getting tickets. If I did, what day do you think I could fit that in?

Thank you to any and all. I’m beyond excited. (And equally beyond nervous!!!!)
