1. It was gonna be pretty difficult surpassing their WK match, but I still enjoyed this one alot. The callbacks made here (such as head smashing on the announce table from WK and the Tiger Driver in tribute to Misawa) were awesome to see. I wish Omega defended the title more often going into this match, but the match was phenomenal. Easily the best part of the show by far. Great stuff!

2. Fuckers have the best and 2nd best match of the year. The bar is set so damn high.

3. Incredible match. 5 stars but I give the edge to the WK match.

   I enjoyed this one more because I was I. The building, but the first was truly special.

   In another year MJF vs Danielson would have a shot at match of the year, but Omega vs Ospreay are gonna cockblock it and every other great match in 2023.

   Unless something really crazy happens in the G1, Ospreay and Okada going nuts maybe, the debate is over which Will vs Kenny match gets the honor, not if they do.

13. Awesome match! Didn’t love the Callis spot, it felt like just let Will go over clean here, especially considering Okada goes down to Danielson right after. Like it was so uneccesary. But at least Kenny kicked out and we got a tiny bit more match so it felt a bit less cheap. Overall, 5 star match in my opinion but not to the level of the WK bout

    But the flag spot was bullshit.

    It’s bullshit … because it was a PLANNED spot.

    I was two rows behind the AEW employee who was waving it … and I saw them talking with Shivonne before the show.

    How would people react if someone wadded up the Union Jack and wiped their ass with it … used the Rising Sun as a jit-rag, or lit the Star Spangled Banner on fire on TV and waved it sarcastically as it went up in smoke?

    If you’re not prepared to go that far with those flags, then fuck off.

    This isn’t politics, it’s wrestling.

    If they had used the Toronto Maple Leafs flag … that would have fine…. It would have been a good heat spot… whereas using a nation’s flag is appalling for some people.
