Am I the only person who enjoys this extremely popular Japanese food
I once went to a wedding in Japan. I never thought there was such a thing as too much izakaya, but I found my limit on that trip. Got sooooo sick of karaage.
It is just you.
I love all fried chicken
We had karage on our menu at my then-to-be in-laws’ Japanese restaurant, it was always a big seller. I used to wash dishes for them on Friday nights, one of the benefits being I could have anything for dinner and all the beer/sake I wanted (it was a pretty good deal), and one of my favorite combos was a plate of karage and a tallboy of Kirin… mmmm, memories of good eatin’ with pruny dishwater hands 😄
A friend who was also one of our waiters loved dipping his karage in a mix of Kewpie and shichimi, which I thought strange… until I tried it! Anyone else do this?
I love it so much but there’s something in it that I’m allergic too or very sensitive to.
Nope. It’s just you and only who.
I need to know how to replicate this exactly because this is the style fried chicken I’ve been wanting
hello subreddit focused on japanese food
does anyone else like japanese food?
Looks like wings, it’s usually boneless.
Mind sharing the recipe for the karaage in the photo? From wherever you got it.
I’ve rarely seen an upvote beggar as obvious as OP.
Its one of the best fried chicken recipes! Great beer food!!
I don’t even know what karaage is! /s
I love karaage 🤤
It’s not just you; there’s so much to love about it!
“Am I the only one who likes fried chicken???😇😇🥸😅😏🥴🫣🥵”
I suppose it’s just you and me who loves karaage. cheers mate
Definitely not just you!
Yes, it’s just you. This dish solely exists and is regularly served in restaurants, held in their inventory and printed on their respective menus all over the planet on the off chance that you might visit.
It depends on where the karaage is from. Some places are meh, but other ramen shops just make me order like 3 times! Gotta have the kewpie with shoyu & wasabi…Orian or Kirin nearby…sigh💕
“Hey does anyone else love joy and happiness?”
OP literally said “dew u guise leik jApAnEsE stile freid chikun fried chikun!?!?”
Op, do you like Japanese style dumpling gyoza? What about Japanese style beef with rice gyodon? 🤣🤣🤣
This food explains why it’s perfectly possible to GAIN weight when living in Japan 🙂
Trust me on this.
Isn’t that a redundant to say Japanese style
“What did you just say :0 ? FRIED Kaarage?!! “A-GE” means FRY you’re saying FRIED FRIED CHICKEN bro would I ask you for a hamburger burger with fries fries?”
-Japanese Spiderman, 2023, into the spiderverse
(ok I know the Kara doesn’t mean chicken but the point still stands that you’re saying fried fried chicken)
No, just you.
Nope, just you.
Yall are all such assholes man just say the food looks nice and move on can you guys stop being such unlovable cunts
