4. I once went to a wedding in Japan. I never thought there was such a thing as too much izakaya, but I found my limit on that trip. Got sooooo sick of karaage.

7. We had karage on our menu at my then-to-be in-laws’ Japanese restaurant, it was always a big seller. I used to wash dishes for them on Friday nights, one of the benefits being I could have anything for dinner and all the beer/sake I wanted (it was a pretty good deal), and one of my favorite combos was a plate of karage and a tallboy of Kirin… mmmm, memories of good eatin’ with pruny dishwater hands 😄

   A friend who was also one of our waiters loved dipping his karage in a mix of Kewpie and shichimi, which I thought strange… until I tried it! Anyone else do this?

23. It depends on where the karaage is from. Some places are meh, but other ramen shops just make me order like 3 times! Gotta have the kewpie with shoyu & wasabi…Orian or Kirin nearby…sigh💕
