Hey everyone! I’m finalizing the details for my visit to Japan, and need some advice. The current plan is to rent a car and take a road trip through the countryside for a few days, then climb Mt. Fuji via the Subashiri Trail. I have been having a lot of trouble finding information online about where I can park overnight to catch the bus for the Subashiri 5th station. Every lot I’ve checked seems to say no overnight parking.
Does anyone have experience leaving a car overnight to hike this trail?

Possibly Fujikyu Railway’s Mt Fuji station. It is the last stop for a [bus](http://bus-en.fujikyu.co.jp/) that services the Subashiri 5th station. There is a multi level parking garage as part of the station.
