I really liked the Netflix series “the days” on the Fukushima disaster
Though the series does well only bc the actors really sell the effort put into the immediate response to the crisis and I didn’t much like the last two episodes
It felt like there was still quite a bit of story to tell that got glossed over
But (and I kinda saw this coming) continuing the story would involve having to cover the human factors that caused the disaster and delve deeper into just how badly Japan’s government (and power company) dropped the ball and that they refused to acknowledge the whole truth until organizations like the IAEA got involved
