I was the former teacher for the Japanese Christian Community in Miami (JCC Miami). We taught free classes every Saturday morning to the community and they were great quality classes (if I do say so myself). I believe they’re still teaching classes for free, but I’m pretty sure a lot has changed. It might be worth contacting!
They have a Meetup event scheduled every Saturday in Doral if I remember correctly. Search them on that site!
I had done Japanese 1 and 2 at MDC (non-credit courses). Learned a lot and then I continued self taught before I got a private tutor as MDC didn’t offer more courses
I took Japanese when I was at University if Miami. Eiko Williams Sensei is the real deal, she is incredible and I highly recommend if you can
Guys and gals thanks for all the answers. So i found a class at MDC for the fall. They offer 3 courses . Hopefully it will be enough to spend a month in japan.
