Travelling solo to Japan in October and decided to go off the beaten path and visit Tohoku. I will be using public transport only. I’m mainly concerned if there are any days that are unrealistic due to the travel time required without a rental car. Also looking for suggestions for any places of interests I might have missed.
The only 2 “must-dos” I have for this are Osorezan and doing the Wanko-Soba challenge while I am in Morioka.
