How was your experience?

I’m starting mine on the 24th to August 10th

  1. Pretty good. Even i pay for “English” class only the books were in English , and not all of them. All driving with teacher were full Japanese. I already have international license but studying again and learning the Japanese words was really good. Passed all test on first try. The last one at the policy was the easier one.

  2. I’m doing mine now, currently waiting for 技能 right now.

I’ve found the course very comprehensive and well structured. I chose to do it in Japanese, because I can map back to English aftwards and that seemed like a better idea if/when I drive in Japan.

If you don’t speak Japanese they do provide an English course but the instructors’ English levels do vary and might (?) be frustrating for some people.

My advice is go for it, driving isn’t particularly hard, you can do it!

  3. The exams are straightforward, and the lessons are tailored to pass the exams so most people would not have much troubles passing both written and driving tests. Was kinda expensive 34man I believe, and one teacher was a straight out asshole but got the paper and was out of there in 3 weeks

  4. Pretty good and fun for two weeks. I went to Fukushima for 合宿. Systems are good and I even got new friends. For the multiple choice (writing) exam, the key is to read the old sample test again and again everyday. It has the same pattern of questions almost every year.

  5. My daughter just passed her test last week. She said the school was like being in prison, but after doing the education system here, it was a walk in the park.
