Question about income tax for Kojin Jigyou

Hello,

I registered as a Kojin Jigyo owner and i know that i am supposed to pay my income tax and residence tax next year.

I understand that I will receive a notice asking me to pay for my residence tax in Max or June 2024. However, i cannot find a lot of information about how to pay the Income tax on english websites?

Could someone help me understand? Thank you!

  1. Not sure about your case, but I’m also kojin jigyo and I do my tax via e-tax. I pay on the website itself.

  2. Yeah I really do recommend just hiring an accountant for this depending on your income.

If the income is less than 200,000 yen it may be possible to just classify it as misc. income and not bother.

If you actually qualify for the full write-off, you will need atleast single booking and your accountant can help you convert that to double-booking for book keeping.

You can also just keep single booking and not bother with the write off but you will save more in the long run.

**this isn’t tax advice and I’m not an accountant/lawyer
