If you don’t change the overall dimensions or engine in the donor car, it’s actually very straightforward – as in basically no paperwork.
If it’s just a moderate dimension change, and it’s not radical, then it’s some pretty simple paperwork and a quick inspection. Have done the process with motorcycles, added 5 minutes to the shaken process.
If you’re radically changing dimensions, there may be questions about safety.
If it’s a frame chop, or any other serious structural mod, it will be bureaucratic hell.
