  1. It’s true though. Wrestlers having long-ass intros on their music is pretty normal in Japan. Everybody is all dramatic and waits for a bit before coming out. Ishii is a standout because he doesn’t wait for any specific music cue or anything, he just likes to keep us waiting for 40 seconds or so. This is a necessary evil because otherwise we wouldn’t get to the best part of his music, and hell, sometimes he still makes it to the ring too fast and we don’t get it.

But YOSHI-HASHI? He was just like “Oh man, everybody else is waiting for a while before coming out, so I’ll do it too!” even back when he hadn’t really earned it or done anything to deserve it. It was very funny back then, you’ve got all these people who wait a while before coming out, and the one who makes you wait the longest of them all…YOSHI-HASHI. His music has an absurdly long intro, made more comical by the fact that it changes genres like 3 times. Just one of those weird things that makes YOSHI-HASHI so…YOSHI-HASHI.

  2. I was about to say that his is pretty long too but YOSHI-HASHI’s theme intro is about 10 seconds longer than his so I guess he has a point?

  3. This is how I feel during Umino’s entrance. I’ve actually started skipping forward during it because it takes forever for him to skip through the crowd and twirl his baby blanket around.
