Sometimes when a character in anime is trying to be intimidating, they appear to roll their Rs instead of the normal Japanese R. I was watching this one anime called “The way of the househusband” (i don’t know it’s name in Japanese) and the main character, who is an ex-yakuza, rolls his Rs all the time. Is it kinda like saying dat instead of that in English?
