Hey! My husband and I will be headed to Japan for the first time SOON – it’s our fifth wedding anniversary. Got it mostly planned except for one intentional free-ish day in Tokyo, and just at a loss for Osaka our last full day. Our interests are music, bicycles, food and bev, shopping, and Magic the Gathering. We’ve left meals out, will mostly pop in spots nearby where we have time. – Check In – Hotel in Shibuya Neighborhood
– Walk around and explore Shibuya!
– Dinner at:
Uobei (other options gyukatsu motomura, or katsudon-ya zuicho, or maguro-to-shari)
*Thursday*
– 6am-noon Fish Market Tour ending in Asakusa
– Nezu Shrine
– Yanaka Ginza
– Back to hotel to rest/snack/wash up
– 8-10pm Photoshoot
*Friday* * our anniversary
– Kichijoji neighborhood
– Inokashira Park
– 2pm – Ghibli Museum
– 6-8pm Wagyu Tasting, Sumida City
– 10pm – Music Festival 🙂
*Saturday*
– We won’t get in from the night before until ~5a, so taking it easy this day. Relative free day but our priorities are:

– Checkout of Tokyo Hotel
– Travel to Kyoto!
– Checkin after 2

– Philosopher’s Path

– 7 or 8am – hike all the way up – Fushimi Inari
– Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum
– Fushimi Sake Village
– Sake breweries
*Wednesday*
– Travel to Osaka!
– 11am – tattoo appointment in Sakai
– Kanbukuro (closes @5)
– Shimano Bicycle Museum (closes 4:30)
– Any time between 7-10:30pm Team Lab Botanical Garden (already got tix)
– Shinsekai
*will need to check in to our Dotonbori neighborhood hotel sometime today, probably evening, we will be hustling from our hotel near Golden Pavillion Kyoto to our tattoo appointments in Sakai

– Osaka day – no plans, would like to hit a couple Osaka “musts”, but also want to meander and shop. Last full day in Japan.

– Checkout in Osaka 11am
– Train Osaka to Tokyo – straight to airport?
– Depart at 6p @ HND
