I am flying to SE Asia tomorrow and think that the impact of the typhoon won’t impact flights out of Fukuoka until Wednesday, but what do the more experienced flyers think? Thank you for your advice.
Too early. They don’t cancel flights until the last minute needed to take off and land safely. The planes will just fly around or over the storm so travel will be fine.
I think it’s unlikely, not going to have that much effect there I think
Unlikely, it’s scheduled to arrive on Wednesday and even with that it with it’s current middle route would need to smash through a couple hundred kilometer of Southern Kyushu, where it weaken, until it reaches Fukuoka Airport.
Check with your airline, not us.
Unless the typhoon is right over Fukuoka (in which case all flights will be cancelled), aircraft and crew scheduling and how far in advance the airline cancels flights varies a lot.
