Asobi/chill spot in Yokohama?

My friend is coming from Osaka and wanted to know some indoor (because it’s freaking hot) asobi/chill spot.

Please let me know your recommendations 🙏 TIA

  1. Landmark Tower/Queen’s Square has a subway station in the basement so you can directly go there without needing to step outside.

    There is an amusement park next door, and a public bath/onsen across the street which is said to be very good.

  2. I’m curious what others will suggest. I’m not into dining or window shopping but those two seem be 90% of activities in Tokyo/Yokohama so will be watching this space.

    Here are a couple of suggestions;

    check out the Hikawa Maru ship at Yamashita Park – it’s an old museum ship. It was a luxury ocean liner which served as a hospital ship during WW2.

    Have the lunch buffet at Cafe Tosca at the Yokohama Bay Hotel – then do the Cup o Noodle museum right after as it’s nearby.

  3. As Yokohama is a gigantic city it depends a lot of where you want to be but in no particular order

    Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, Kirin Factory Tour (and sampling), Sea Paradise, Cup Noodle Museum, Customs Museum, Yokohama Noh Theater, Sky Duck (waterbus) or boat tour/ boat restaurant, etc.

    Of course there’s a million options for food (Chinatown) or shopping (Red Brick Warehouse, Mitsui Outlets, etc.) or non-Yokohama specific indoor things (darts, karaoke, bowling, etc.)
