“Greeeeeaaat…..” says basically everyone who has to deal with Chinese tourists…
RIP tourist destinations. I guess Kyoto will be a no go for a while.
Well it was good while it lasted, now to avoid any big city center
Oh, noooooooo!
I felt like this already happened …lots of Chinese tourists in large groups in Kumamoto…
I live in Japan. Tried to book a hotel for skiing next January today just by chance. Apparently it was completely booked with groups according to receptionist. This is not even a very popular area to ski.
Now it makes sense. Not even a day and looks like everything is being booked out by Chinese group tourists
Man, I’m glad I don’t work at a tourist heavy konbini anymore.
I must be the only one who prefers Chinese tourists over Americans. Chinese, come in group, rush through everything and done. Americans… “EYYY BRO! Look at this shit” “Huhuhuh we won the war” “Why don’t they speak English?” “I WILL SUE YOU! IM AN AMERICAN”
I’ve definitely seen chinese tourist groups multiple times this year. Is this a new thing?
I’m glad I got out the collectors scene because I hate dealing with ítem prices inflating due to Chinese tourists buying out every store. Great for businesses but bad for locals.
Many of the Chinese tourists who come to Japan are wealthy. Chinese spend the most money in Japan.
Fantastic! Cant wait to deal with the influx of rude Chinese spitting everywhere, sitting in groups blocking walk ways to have meals together and pillaging shops for better quality goods that they will bring back home
Terrible.
Next sakura season gonna be wild!!!
I lived in Japan and China. The Chinese had nothing good to say about Japan.. not sure why they wanna travel there so bad.
Sigh……
Ahh, fuck.
God damn it
Unpopular opinion: 98% of the negative comments about Chinese tourists are racist, and written by gatekeepers. Look deep into your heart before you downvote this. And I don’t like (most of) them either.
I’m just so glad to have visited Kyoto 2 years ago. It was fun to walk and take pictures of the scenery that time.
Oh shit, thinking about going to osaka in a couple of monthes.. I don’t wanna bump into them haha
