Damn man I really miss Roppongi 3K

Kind of shocked neither one of them really made great rides in the Junior division as solo competitors.

  1. Back when it looked like SHO had a bigger future star potential than YOH. It’s amazing how the script has flipped now.

  2. I miss SHO being good and relevant

However, Roppongi 3K really did hide YOHs strengths in the end. This new version of YOH with the fashionista, move stealer vibe is top notch. Really feels like he has found his charisma

  3. I wouldn’t make the verdict on their singles career just yet. YOH just barely found himself earlier this year and SHO has yet to turn that corner. They pretty much accomplished everything in the already small jr tag division as RP3K, and thus hit their ceiling.

I’d give it a couple more years. You really don’t want to see them get pushed right now, unless you want to see them hit the Hiromu ceiling.

  4. When they returned from excursion, I was super impressed with how YOH conduct the backstage interview, thinking he would be the superior one. Unfortunate that his knee injury causes his momentum to dwindle.

  5. Interesting choice of the algorithm to show that post first 😉 Just made a watchlist for NJPW World and found out that they are actually one of my Top 3 NJPW tag teams (beside some other combinations of different stables). Neither SHO nor YOH benefitet from the split but both are great wrestlers that meed direction.

  6. Their theme song, I grew to despise it.

Honestly, Rocky is just not that good a singer. Roppongi vice’s theme is good in spite of his singing.

  7. It’s ironic how they ended up being the complete opposite of each other’s paths. When they were together, SHO had potential as a singles star that was only proven when YOH got hurt. Fast forward several years, it’s YOH who has gotten more popular and over with the fans and showed what he’s truly capable of while SHO is stuck with HOT

  8. They’ve shat the bed with SHO. Was really excited to see what would happen with him. Sometimes fantasise about him joining Strong Style and having a good NEVER run or something. Ah well
