They all broke the law. Anyone who hired a foreign trainee
I see lots of stories of trainees on fb and it’s all about how they’re mistreated and asking what the options are for changing companies/ going home etc. Please fix.
Prime example of selective rule breaking.
Rules for thee but not for me.
By all means correct me if I’m wrong, but Japanese Employment Law only protects Japanese Citizens.
Double edged sword. This now gives 7,200 Japanese firms the excuse to say that they will eliminate their foreign training programs and scare away any companies that were considering implementing programs. This is completely the responsibility of the government to enforce and oversee these programs and policies. You cannot expect a criminal to abide by the law if there are never any policemen present.
“These companies broke the law, so naturally we are going to talk about it, then do nothing. These companies are free to operate as usual with no oversight.” -Japanese government.
I’m sure that just by being foreign. You braking laws.

With malice intentions or accidental?
I’d be more interested in how many didn’t.
