Hi everyone!
I’m currently studying in Japan after coming here at the end of June and today arrived by post all the bills I need to pay for the health insurance.
I have now 2 questions:
1) Can I pay the bills all together?
2) I don’t have to write anything on them, right? I just need to take the bills to the conbini and they’ll let me pay?
Sorry if these questions may seem stupid, but it’s the first time and I don’t wanna do it wrong! -.-

Yeah, just take the bill to the conbini, all the details about what you are paying for is stored through the barcode, so you don’t have to add anything.
You can pay all at once or month by month (there are due dates on the bill.) Also if you are a student or low income you can go to the city office and ask for reduction on Health Insurance and other stuff.
You need to look carefully not to pay twice. Sometimes they send like per month and in the same package per year, quarter
There should be one slip that is roughly equivalent to the total of all the others combined (for those who wish to pay all at once). Obviously don’t go paying that in addition to the smaller instalments.
Btw in case you end up paying double on a certain month, they’ll send you a letter with instructions on how to get the money refunded. I paid 3 months twice lol
If you can pay at the ward office.. would be.easier to verify your not double paying
