I made Japanese breakfast the other day


It’s quite a lot of work, but since we head a splendid 朝ご飯 at a Ryokan in Yakushima a couple of years ago I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So good!

  1. I feel like I’m missing out on so much delicious food because I can’t handle most fish or fishy tastes including seaweed and kelp and stuff.

  3. I’ve always tried to explain to people how difficult breakfast is for me in Japan, because I don’t really want breakfast and there’s so much food served at breakfast. I’m going to steal this picture as exhibit A when I’m discussing this. LOL
