Cards are almost complete and Kobe is far, far better. But an Okada match is yet yo be added.
Suzuki vs Nagata has honestly been one of my favorite NJPW rivalries in its history; you have the history of them being competitors at the amateur wrestling level, with Suzuki beating Nagata and being generally his superior in grappling, but the two take divergent paths in Puro, with Suzuki leaving NJPW to join the UWF and later start Pancrase with Funaki (becoming a big star and jump-starting the sport of MMA) while Nagata stays and becomes a big star in NJPW, but not without suffering hardships (being the closest thing to an “Ace” figure during their “dar age”‘ period and also being booked in MMA fights against freaking Fedor and Cro Cop).
Then, their rivalry renews when Suzuki returns to Puro, and they’ve warred across multiple promotions and still beat the ever-loving piss out of each other.
