Hey everyone,
I’m applying for the JLPT to take in Japan (would have posted in JLPT sub but it is locked for fighting the good fight). It asks for my country/region. For those who have applied in Japan, is this for my nationality (USA), or for where I live (Japan). I’m pretty sure it’s for nationality, but it’s next to the address input area so I just want to double check. TIA!

I believe it’s where you’ll be taking the exam
Country/Region is for your nnationality or national/regional origin.
When you sign up for the test itself, it will ask for you “test area” which is where you input where you will be taking the test in Japan.
