I used to mostly drink iced coffees with oat milk back in the US, not due to lactose intolerance or any medical reason but simply because I’m not a fan of the taste of cow milk. I moved to Tokyo in July and I didn’t realize until I moved here that most coffee shops don’t really have alt milk as an option when you order drinks here. The one place I’ve come across that has it as an option seems to be Starbucks. Does anyone know any other cafes besides Starbucks that offer oat and almond milk options for iced coffee?

In Kyoto I don’t think I’ve found a cafe that *doesn’t* have non-dairy milk
A few years ago not having alternative milk was common, but I actually find that more often than not, most cafes in Tokyo have oat/soy options now. To name a few:
* Woodberry (locations in Shibuya, Gakudai, Daikanyama, Ogikubo, etc)
* Streamer coffee (locations in Shibuya, Nakameguro, Harajuku, Asakusa etc)
* Verve (Ebisu, Roppongi, Shinjuku)
* Fuglen (Yoyogi, Asakusa)
* Dean & Deluca (locations everywhere)
* Onibus Coffee (Nakameguro, Jiyugaoka, Dogenzaka etc)
* Sidewalk stand (Nakameguro, Yutengi, Shimokitazawa)
* Blue Bottle (locations everywhere)
* White Glass Coffee (Shibuya)
* Chop Coffee (Harajuku)
They’re milking ALTs now?
All the major chains have soy lattes available
Kannon coffee near Shoin jinja station has oat/soy milk, it’s not a chain or anything so pretty inconvenient unless you live nearby.
