It is scientific illiteracy that keeps people scared of the water in the tanks. The ocean is naturally radioactive. Much more so than in the tanks. [It’s really okay if they dump the water.](https://www.forbes.com/sites/jamesconca/2019/09/12/its-really-ok-if-japan-dumps-radioactive-fukushima-water-into-the-ocean/)
Anyone have information on what countries aside from Japan that has discharged treated nuclear waste water into ocean?
I did quick search and I did not get satisfactory match.
IAFA has given their blessing on how Japan will discharge treated water as acceptable with minimum risk. Countries that oppose, are they more expert than IAFA?
