Please bear with me here. Might make a post for this but want to try asking here first. I keep hearing conflicting stories but can you guys tell me yours?
If you’re a new graduate with no experience, in IT. Do you need to wear a suit to interviews? My career advisor keeps saying it’s a must but we don’t see eye to eye on that. Of course the suit usually comes with a package (3 knocks, certain way of sitting, 失礼fuckingいたします)
I’m not your average new graduate that has no idea what they’re doing (not bragging sorry if it sounds like that I’m actually not that confident but I keep getting told that I’m good at least lol) I care about communication, writing clean code, doing my best with documentation, and I’m going through cracking the code interview (a lot of companies care about what you wear more than what your skills are so not sure if I should give up writing code to practice saying 失礼致します).
I feel like companies that have that as a requirement usually pay lower and might be more traditional (which I want to avoid).
What do you guys think?
Can I ask my contracting agency(Japanese firm) to extend my visa although I do not have a dispatch job opportunity from January next year? Meaning is it rude to ask for Visa extension help regardless of the possibility of a future job through the same agency?
