If you have lost your suica card, you can get a replacement with all the money and monthly pass you bought on it IF you registered your name on it.
Step 1: Check with the station staff if anyone turned in your lost suica card.
(Proceed to step 2 if you don’t think it will be turned in by a kind stranger or you don’t want to wait.)
Step 2: go to a station with photo id and ask the staff to disable the suica card. Once they disable it, it no longer can be used even if found.
Step 3: staff will give you a paper you can take to the 緑口(green entrance) where suica staff is and they can renew your card with everything you had on it. (A fee of 1020yen will be required for processing and card renewal) (They cannot gaurantee you get the amount on your lost card if someone had used it before it was stopped)
Hope this helps.

Yes this is literally the entire point of having a registered card. Did also know that if you put money in the bank, you can later take it out to use it? Or that if put food in your refrigerator, it will stay fresh for a few days until you’re ready to eat it?
