Wondering if anyone here has experienced getting semi-minor paint scrapes repaired and how much it cost? Just on one panel and for a Toyota Vitz specifically, but probably about the same for similar makes I’d assume.
Yes, I’ve looked at the repair kits at Donki and on Amazon.

A minor scratch or scrape can often be fixed by cutting and polishing, sometimes with some touch up paint. If that doesn’t work, expect to pay an independent shop about 25,000 to 35,000 for a quality job.
I scraped my front bumper and headlight on a Mazda and it was going to cost like 25万. Pretty ridiculous so we just ran it through insurance and covered the deductible. If it’s just the door it probably won’t be nearly that much, especially if they can touch it up rather than replace the panel. I talked to a friend who recommended a body shop for me and we also compared to what the dealership quoted and both were about the same.
Got a quote a few weeks ago for a scrape across 2 panels (rear door and quarter panel). 160,000 including some panel beating. The scrape went all the way to the metal
