College tours in Tokyo?

My daughter (a HS junior in the US) is interested in touring colleges in Tokyo in the coming year, we are planning a trip in either February or April of next year. Do colleges offer tours the way they do in the US? Specifically, she’s interested in international programs at U Tokyo, Waseda, Sophia and Keio. Her Japanese is \~N3 currently.

We’re aware of the differences in name recognition and quality of education of a US vs Japanese uni (and benefits of doing a semester/year abroad from a US school), but she very much wants to study in Japan and live there after graduating.

That said, what is the best way of lining up college tours during a family trip there next winter/spring? Thanks!

  1. Most universities host an Open Campus Day at least once a year, many in August / September! I don’t know how well represented the international degrees / degrees in English are on these days though. One way or the other I’m afraid that college tours in the way they exist in the US are mainly a thing in the US only.

  2. I would also suggest looking into [Temple University Japan Campus](https://www.tuj.ac.jp)

American university based in Tokyo and you get a dual degree for both Japan and America when you graduate.

I also believe you can set up tours anytime to look at the school.
