Fat surprise that is…. They’d just get verbally assaulted for it. Hah!
Why would women take unpaid leave? Period leave exists in company policy just to make it look progressive and woman friendly.
Maybe because it’s *unpaid*?
I just told my wife and she alike wait that’s wayyyy too high. More like 99 percent never take it.
This article is weird. They interviewed less than 500 people.
People take leave for period pain?
Is that good or bad? It seems to be 44% vs 40% for the average across the survey. Doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary, especially given the sample size.
Wife uses her nenkyu. She doesn’t get that much nenkyu to begin with so she usually takes a half day during the first day or two of her period when the pain is the worst
It’s only just been introduced at my office (luckily as a paid holiday) and we’re fairly progressive.
Tried taking it one time and I was told I wasn’t allowed to. So maybe that’s another reason why so few people actually take it.
