Learning Japanese sign language online

I could just google this but I’d like some recommendations for resources that people actually found helpful and effective.

(We’ll look into free in-person lessons offered in our ward but in the meantime…)

  1. I don’t have any to offer, but it’s fairly straightforward to at least teach yourself to sign the syllabary, so maybe start there? Most any resource will be sufficient for something so simple. I used to be able to sign my name and basic phrases (my native language partner in college was HOH and taught me some basics), and I recall it being pretty easy to pick up for the simplest stuff!

  2. I’m taking in-person classes through the city. No advice and I’m also a very beginner but happy to practice together sometime if you’re ever keen!
