I work for one of the shittier dispatch companies I only worked twice this month but I’m enrolled in the shakai hoken and it’s around 30,000 yen a month do I need to pay extra to cover my half?

  1. Yes, your premium is set for the year based on your estimated annual income.
If your income is too low you will be asked to deposit money to the company to cover the difference.

  2. So happy I left the teaching field in Japan.

Everyone. Please don’t get comfortable with the teaching life.
