Hi, 6 years Tokyo expat here.
I’m moving to a new place and they are not setup for anything else than 100mb. My current SoftBank 1gb plan would require me to ask permission to my new landlords who’s asking to have pictures of what they will do to his walls… and I not sure I want to go through the hassle of getting SoftBank consumer services to send me these pics.
They offered me to move to SoftBank air but I haven’t seen a lot of happy people using it online.
docomo apparently has another offer that seem to be a little better but I was wondering if any of you guys could share their experience using home 5G solutions

I’ve had good experience with it. I’ve actually used their service twice, signed up a second time after the Nuro packet loss problems starting interfering with my work calls. I guess in your shoes I’d still go forward with the pictures for wired connection for perceived reliability even though in my actual recent experience, this wireless one offering has been significantly more reliable than the wired Nuro offering.
