Here’s my stupid question:
When is this awful summer going to end? This is only my second full summer in Japan but I don’t remember September being this hot last year. Even dropping below 30 would be incredible at this point.

Hi! Just moved here — wanting to sign up for ticketing accounts like pia and eplus, and they don’t have enough space for my middle name to be together with my first name, although my middle name appears on all official documents like passport, residence card, bank etc. Will it be an issue if I omit my middle name? The other option would be to put it all together in one string without a space (then it fits). Thanks!

Fellas, I have a question for you. Say you’re meeting your date/girlfriend/wife at a bar on Friday night in the city. She’s dressed up relatively nicely. You are running 45 minutes late. What do you do?
Do you a) say to her to go in and sit alone at the bar for 45 mins waiting for you, or b) arrange to meet at a nearby cafe instead so she can wait in the cafe until you get there? (Or, please comment any other option if you’ve thought of one)
This came up in conversation with my friends. Some guys said they didn’t want their gf to wait alone at a bar on a Friday night because guys will probably start bothering her, but other friends said they’d never really thought about it

I was thinking of buying a Michelin Guide for restaurants.
Does that mean, there is no guide to show restaurants with Michelin stars in Kobe? obe. When I search for the physical guide on Amazon, it only gives me “Kyoto + Osaka” and “Tokyo”, and some other cities like Nara etc., The only one I can find is for Hyogo from 2016.

Anybody here from Okinawa that has an experience sending your bicycle to tokyo?(bicycle is a normal one non-electric) I was trying to send it via seino but have seen their policy that they do not service from okinawa. Finding suggestions Thanks!
