  1. You did great and welcome to the world of sushi at home. Good news is you are at the tip of the iceberg of a whole new world in culinary and it’s vast, complex, exciting and interesting. If you always strive to improve (and even three star Michelin chefs are always trying to improve) you will love the world. You had some posts here that said “rice is the key” and I could not agree more. Perfect the rice as it’s the base building block.

    Personal Taste Warning: The rice is a little compressed, this happens to me, when the rice is a bit overcooked, or too warm.
