Last time I cancelled something off ichiba, it was back in my prepaid card balance within 24h of refund email. This was for something that hasn’t shipped yet tho, it was just a captured order that I wanted to modify and customer service told me it would be easier to refund first and re-order different configuration.
Rakuten is a huge company. They have Ichiba. They have Rakuten Travel. Rakuten Securities. Rakuten Mobile. Rakuten Bank with Visa Debit Card. Etc etc
Which Rakuten is processing the refund?
If it’s Ichiba then it’s probably the merchant that needs to process it. But a month is too long. Contact them.
If it’s Bank with Visa Debit, they may have cancelled the original tx instead because they do weird things
Debit card refunds take a long time. Around 6-8 weeks.
