Do most people mine their own Anki or are pre-made decks more popular?

I did some mining in the past but now I’m using a combination of my old decks and pre-made ones. It seems like the recommended approach is to mine your own decks from reading or anime.

But I hate watching anime on a computer or reading on a computer. Anyone here just read and immerse without mining?
