Last year I posted about a very last-minute trip to northern Tohoku for a bunch of festivals and mentioned plans to go to Hirosaki for the Neputa festival.
Someone suggested going to the Tachinebuta festival in Goshogawara instead, checked it out, looked awesome, braved several hours of local trains and a shitty last-minute hotel to go and it was indeed amazing.
Divorce everyday
Don’t attempt a backflip at your local conbini unless you are a trained professional.
If you attempt a backflip without prior training when asked by the conbini staff to press the “OK” button at your local 711 you are going to have a bad time.
The customers waiting in line will have a bad time.
The 711 staff member will have a bad time.
It’s all around bad news bears.
Please consult your local backflip professional before attempting said backflip at your local conbini when checking out.
And please don’t forget to drop some coins in the charity receptacle for science.
